CHENNAI: State Secretary of the Communist Party of the Marxist Communist Party K. Balakrishnan has insisted that the case of rape of a private school girl in Paramakkudy, Ramanathapuram district should be immediately transferred to CBCID for investigation and all the culprits should be arrested.
In a statement issued by him in this regard, “The incident of continuous gang rape of a ninth grade student in a private school in Paramakkudy, Ramanathapuram district has caused shock and pain. The Tamil Nadu State Executive Committee of the Communist Party of India strongly condemns this atrocity on a school child.
A poor student of ninth standard in Paramakkudi was tricked into not going to school for a month by a gang and sexually assaulted. The details the girl fearfully shared with her parents were not out of the ordinary. It is learned that similar to the rape of female students in Pollachi, it has also happened in Paramakudi.
Paramakkudi AIADMK president and Paramakkudi city council member Chikamani, Pudumalar Prabhakar, Raja Mohammad, Kayalvizhi and Uma, leader of Marathamizhar Sen, who are involved in this heinous crime, have been arrested under the POCSO Act. Also, it is known that many important points of the city are connected with this terrible sexual violence and some people in the police are involved.
Therefore, the Tamil Nadu State Working Committee of the Communist Party of Tamil Nadu urges the Tamil Nadu Government and the Police to immediately transfer the case to the CBCID and conduct a thorough investigation and arrest all the culprits. .
