Kochi: A woman’s body was found with her throat slit inside her house in Alemkulam. After being killed by slitting his throat, he was wrapped in plastic wrap. Initial information is that the dead body is four days old. Another young man was staying here along with the woman. The owner of the house was told that they were a couple.
Locals informed the police after a bad smell came from inside the house. The body was found during the subsequent inspection. Although it is not clear who died, they lived here under the name of natives of Assam. But the police say that the information in the documents was wrong.
They told the family that their names were Ram Bahadur and Lakshmi. No identity card was issued. It has become clear to the police that the address given in the rental document was also wrong. With this, the police are investigating that the name given by them is wrong.
They lived as a couple by renting only a part of a house. The family members also say that there is often a fight between the two. The family has also stated that they have not been seen outside for a few days. After the murder, the body was placed in a plastic bag and tied again with cloth. The police have intensified their investigation focusing on CCTV.
