Actress with pictures taken by her father during the inter-school cultural competition
Bhavana is a very popular actress among the Malayalees. After a while, Bhavana became active in Malayalam cinema. The shooting of the movie ‘Ntikkakkakkoru Premandarnnu’ starring Bhavana is in progress. The film is directed by debutant director Adil Maimoonath Ashraf and stars Sharafuddin in the lead role.
Bhavana’s throwback pictures shared on her Instagram are now getting attention. These pictures were taken by Bhavana’s father and photographer Balachandra Menon while participating in an inter-school cultural competition during his school days.
“Sometimes I want to go back to my childhood, to a time when I had no choice but to think about the world,” he said.
Bhavana, who entered the world of Malayalam cinema with the fragrance of the film ‘Nammal’ directed by Kamal, later became a notable heroine in Malayalam. ‘Adam John’ was Bhavana’s latest Malayalam film starring in a number of notable films including ‘CID Moosa’, ‘Chronic Bachelor’, ‘Chintamani Murder Case’, ‘Lollipop’, ‘Naran’, ‘Chottam Mumbai’ and ‘Marykundoru Kunjadu’.
Apart from Malayalam, Bhavana is a shining star in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Bhavana also bagged the Kerala State Government’s Best Supporting Actress Award for her performance in ‘Daivanamathil’.
Bhavana, who has acted in more than 60 films, married her friend and Kannada filmmaker Naveen on January 23, 2018. Bhavana and Naveen were married after a long love affair of five years. Bhavana and Naveen met in 2012 during the shooting of ‘Romeo’. Naveen was the producer of ‘Romeo’.
