The video shows a truck going through several pits filled with water resembling small ponds. The video of the wrecked National Highway has gone viral on social media. The day before, national dailies had made news of this. The pits are reported to be 100 feet wide and 3 feet deep. When it rains, the water level in the road rises by about two feet. This is an area with about 500 shops and 15,000 families.
This video is reminiscent of the roads of Bihar during the Jungle Raj era of the ’90s.
