Snowboardcrosser Eva Adamczyková closed the World Cup with fifth place in Mont-Sainte-Anne. Just like on Saturday, she dominated the small final in Canada. The last race of the season was won by Briton Charlotte Bankes. In the overall evaluation of the series, the best was the French Chloé Trespeuchová. Radek Houser, who this time was eliminated in the round of 16, did not follow up on Saturday’s surprising third place.

Adamczyková did not reach a medal for the fourth time in a row. The reigning world champion smoothly won the quarter-finals and had a long way to go in the semi-finals as well, but after the final jump, she fell to third place in the finish line, just behind Australia’s Josie Baff and Trespeuch.

The Olympic winner from Sochi 2014 went to the small final again. She won it for the third time in the last four races. This time she got to the front in the first banked corner. The chasing Frenchwoman Julia Pereira de Sousa Mabileau then fell and slowed down the other rivals, so the Czech representative finished fifth overall without any problems.

The same position also belongs to her in the final ranking of the SP for the season, the beginning of which she missed due to participation in a dance competition. Trespeuchová won the crystal globe for the first time, and today’s fourth place was enough. In addition to the victorious Bankes, the Italian Michela Moioli and the Australian Baff finished ahead of her.

Houser and Kryštof Choura made it to the round of 16 of the men’s race from the preliminary round, but the first round was the final one for both of them. Canadian Eliot Grondin confirmed the overall triumph in the series with another victory on home soil. Just like on Saturday, second Australian Cameron Bolton was behind him. German Leon Ulbricht took third place this time.

The twenty-sixth Choura was the best Czech man in the overall ranking of the World Cup.
