During a plenary session on Wednesday, October 25, at the CNT, the national advisors adopted by a majority the law relating to the ”regime of civil status in the Republic of Guinea”. According to Mory Condé, civil status gives legal identity and makes it possible to establish identity documents and thus helps to realize for everyone the fundamental right to an identity and a name from birth, which will allow them to exercise their civil and political rights.
