New Delhi: Airtel, one of India’s leading private telecom companies, has reportedly increased the minimum monthly recharge charges in the states of Haryana and Odisha. It is also expected that this fare hike will be rolled out across India soon.

Prepaid SIM card users in India have a minimum recharge requirement for making incoming and outgoing phone calls only if they meet the monthly minimum recharge. The charges vary depending on the telecom company. In this context, Airtel has increased the price on that tariff.

As of now, the minimum monthly recharge in Haryana and Odisha is Rs.99. It also offers Rs.99 talktime, Rs.2.5 paisa for instant calls and 200 MB data. It is reported that Airtel has now increased the tariff. So users now have to do a minimum monthly recharge of Rs.155. It is reported that Airtel has carried out this as a trial attempt. This new plan offers unlimited calls, 1GB data and 300 SMS.

Based on the results, it seems that Airtel will bring this plan across India. If you do so, there will be no recharge of less than Rs.155. From last 2018, the price of the minimum recharge fee has been increased to Rs.35, Rs.49, Rs.79 and finally to Rs.99.
