The release date of Aishwarya Rajesh’s Malayalam remake of ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’ has been announced.
The movie ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’ was directed by Jio Baby and starred Nimisha Sajayan and Suraj Venjaramood. This is a film about a newly married woman, the hardships she faces in the family of her conservative and patriarchal husband and the decision she takes.
Released directly on the OTT platform, the film was well received by critics and fans alike. It was praised for its poignant and realistic depiction of the plight of an educated woman suffering from patriarchal thinking.
In this case, the film has been remade in Tamil by director R. Kannan. Aishwarya Rajesh has played the role of Nimisha Sajayan in Tamil. Balasubramaniam has done the cinematography for the film, which has music composed by Jerry Sylvester Vincent. Rahul Ravindran plays the role of Suraj Venjaramood. The trailer of the film was released recently and received a lot of response.
Meanwhile, the release date of the film has been announced. The film team has announced that it will be released worldwide on 29th of this month. Sakthivel Film Factory has bought the Tamil Nadu rights of the film.
