Uno-X Mobility has secured its participation in the 2024 Tour de France, marking its return to the prestigious competition for the second consecutive year. The news was officially confirmed, and one of the prominent names in the potential lineup is experienced rider Alexander Kristoff.

Kristoff expressed his satisfaction with the invitation of the Scandinavian team to the Tour de France: “I felt that last year we had a good performance. We were in the middle of the tree in terms of points. In that sense, we deserved a place this year, since there were many who did worse than us.” He pointed out in conversation with Discovery.
Despite failing to claim stage wins on his grand tour debut, Kristoff is optimistic about Uno-X Mobility’s chances in 2024, stating that the team has been strengthened with key additions such as Andreas Leknessund and Magnus Cort: “We have strengthened the equipment. Markus Hoelgaard and Jonas Iversby Hvideberg can also help strengthen him. This year we can win stages,” he declared.
Although the 36-year-old Norwegian cyclist, a four-time Tour de France stage winner, recognizes the internal competition in the team, he remains ambitious and confident in his abilities: “I don’t see myself as a ‘banker’ in the team. We have a lot of good runners, so I also have to show form and results. But I hope and believe that I will get a place,” he indicated.
Kristoff recognizes the improvement of his teammates and the continued challenge in elite cycling, but remains focused on contributing to the success of the Uno-X Mobility team at the 2024 Tour de France. With the experience and determination that characterize him, hopes to play a key role in the quest for stage wins in the prestigious French round.
