The Ministry of Digital Development is looking for a contractor to scale the automated workplace of a civil servant (AWS GS) to the regions. For these purposes, in the coming year (from October 1, 2023 to September 20, 2024), it is planned to allocate 907.4 million rubles. An open tender for the provision of services for the development of the system was posted on the public procurement portal on June 23. The key idea, as follows from the terms of reference, is to create a single solution for officials to replace foreign services and instant messengers, in particular Telegram.
ARM GS includes a secure messenger developed by VK and combining correspondence, video calls, mail, calendar, cloud storage and an “internal portal”. The system was created on the basis of the corporate messenger VK Teams according to the tender of the Ministry of Digital Development announced in the fall of 2021. In accordance with the requirements of the new purchase, the contractor will have to provide the necessary level of cryptographic protection of information when transferring information between users, as well as scale solutions to other departments. The number of departments and users in aggregate will be able to switch to the ARM GS is not indicated in the documents.
