The United States has doubled the financial aid to Pakistan, which is reeling under economic crisis. The United States has increased the aid from 39 million US dollars to 82 million.
The United States made this clear through a press release issued by the US state media. State media said the aid would help improve governance and social conditions in Pakistan.
Due to floods and financial crises, Pakistan is in a rush to get financial assistance. With foreign exchange reserves at historic lows, there are also hurdles to access loans from the International Monetary Fund. In the meantime, Pakistan’s only hope is the help of various countries.
