On January 6, Alaska Airlines Flight 1282, en route from Portland to Ontario, California, made an emergency landing due to a “missing part of the fuselage” and depressurization. After the plane returned to the ground, it was discovered that the missing part of the fuselage was actually an exit door. The plane climbed to an altitude of 16,000 feet before turning back to the airport, according to FlightRadar24.com.
