He was working on tracking tiger sharks off the coast of Belize when he saw a creature with a different body structure approaching the side of the ship.

He confirmed that it was a Greenland shark. Immediately this information is forwarded to the senior researchers of the university. What is so surprising about it?

Firstly, Greenland sharks live in frozen Arctic seas. So the question arises among the researchers how this shark came to the warm Caribbean Sea. Next, biologists say that this type of shark can live for at least 250 to 500 years.
Meanwhile, researchers suspect that it may be a hybrid between the Greenland shark and the Pacific sleeper shark. Speaking about this, Kasana said, “Initially I thought it was a different sea creature. Only later did it come to light that it was a Greenland shark.
