In a shocking and strange case of animal violence, Angry monkeys have killed 250 dogs in Majalgaon and Lavul villages, Beed district, Maharashtra, India.

Images published by Indian media show a monkey carrying a puppy to the edge of a building, in one of the numerous attacks reported.

The conflict between the animals seems to have begun when several dogs killed a baby monkeywhich would have triggered the wave of “revengeful” attacks by the primates. In videos recorded before the murders, dogs are seen chasing monkeys while women and children flee in terror.

Given the seriousness of the situation, the villagers have asked the forest department authorities for help, requesting that the monkeys be captured. However, so far, officers have failed to catch any monkeys.
