He is a father of two and was abducted in the October 7 attack

An association of families of Israeli hostages captured by Hamas announced that an Israeli kidnapped by the Palestinian Islamist movement on October 7 has been killed, AFP and BTA reported.

The Israeli army has informed Uriel Baruch’s family that his body is in Gaza, the statement said, which did not specify the date or circumstances of the death. “The Forum of Hostage Families “Tikva” is in mourning after the news of the murder of Ouriel Baruch,” the association wrote.
Thirty-five-year-old Ouriel Baruch, a father of two, was one of those abducted during the Nova music festival, the place where Hamas fighters massacred 364 people on October 7.

The Palestinian Islamist movement captured more than 250 people in an unprecedented attack on Israeli soil. About a hundred of them were released in exchange for Palestinian prisoners during the cessation of hostilities in late November. According to Israeli authorities, 130 people are still missing, with 34 confirmed dead.
