The focus is likely to be a new iPhone SE and an updated iPad Air, such as the business news service “Bloomberg” reported. But there is also speculation about a computer with a new processor generation from Apple.
If you don’t want to buy a new device at the moment, you could at least find out when the new iPhone software iOS 15.4 will be released. With it, you will be able to unlock an iPhone for the first time using Face ID face recognition if you are wearing a mask.
What does the new iPhone bring?
The rumors are unanimous that the new third generation iPhone SE will look like this current SE model. This is based on the design of the iPhone 8, has a power button under the screen with integrated Touch ID fingerprint sensor.
The size of the touchscreen should therefore still be 4.7 inches (approx. 12 cm). The usually well-informed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had last year claims there could also be a larger Plus variant of the iPhone SE with a 5.5-inch display that has a Touch ID sensor built into a power button on the side.

It is still unclear what a new SE model could cost and when it will be launched. It is conceivable that the device will be available in the week after the presentation and will continue to be sold from around 480 euros. For the price, however, there could be more storage space than the 64 gigabytes available so far. But there are no rumors about this.
What’s in the next iPad Air?
When Apple in October 2020 this Fourth generation iPad Air launched, the device came with a number of radical changes from its predecessor. New design, larger display, a USB-C port for charging and, for the first time, a Touch ID sensor in the power button on the side of the device…
If Apple should now present the fifth generation of the Air, such profound changes should not be expected. The Air could take a big step in terms of its performance: The blog “9to5mac” reports that Apple’s own M1 processor will be installed in the new model.
The M1 chip works about 50 percent faster than the current iPhone’s A15 Bionic processor, which was previously expected in the iPad Air. If the M1 chip were really used, the Air would come close to the performance of the iPad Pro.
The fourth-generation iPad Air is likely to have a successor today
A year ago, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had rumors that Apple could install a higher-contrast OLED screen instead of the usual LCD display voiced – only to see her again half a year later to collect. Apple had given up the plans, it said in the fall.

New Mac
For a few days there has been increasing evidence that Apple is also working on a new Mac computer. At 9to5mac is it[calledthat Apple is planning a Mac Studio.
The computer should be reminiscent of the small Mac Mini on the outside, but will be offered in two versions with very powerful processors. One of the variants is said to have installed the M1 Max chip from the current MacBook Pro, the second version is said to come with an even more powerful chip.
However, it is conceivable, according to “9to5mac”, that Apple will only present such a computer at the WWDC developer conference in June – together with other Mac models.
