Malappuram: Muhammad Swadiq, an Argentina fan from Lakshadweep Kavarathi, has made the announcement that if Argentina enters the World Cup finals, a cutout of Messi will be placed under the sea. A cutout of captain Lionel Messi has been placed 15 meters deep in the Arabian Sea when Messi reached the finals as per the wishes of Argentina fans around the world. The Prince of Rosario shines among the coral reefs of what is known as the ‘Wonderful Wall’ just before the deep sea. The cutout was installed with the help of the scuba team.
Cutout pictures and videos of Messi in the sea are now viral. Swadikh says that he has embarked on such an adventure with the aim of letting the world know about Lakshadweep’s love for Argentina. Swadikh is an employee in the sports department of a government school in Kavarathi.
