In an unfortunate event that occurred at kilometer 69 of the Litoral highway, in the canton of La Lucha, Zacatecoluca, Ventura Ezequiel Ramírez Hernández has been arrested as the person responsible for a multiple crash that resulted in two deaths.
Authorities reported that Ramírez did not have a driver’s license at the time of the accident. Consequently, he will face charges of manslaughter and negligent wounding, aggravated by the seriousness of the consequences of his actions.
In addition, the National Civil Police (PNC) reported that the number of deaths has increased to two, as one more person lost their life in the hospital as a result of injuries suffered in the accident.
This tragic incident highlights the importance of following traffic rules and the need for all drivers to be properly licensed, in order to prevent tragedies like this in the future.
