The last EC security check was at the end of last week
The first Schengen flight to Sofia is at 0.20 on March 31. Then a plane of one of the low-cost airlines will land at the airport.

At the airport in Burgas, the borders will be opened on March 31 at 10:20 a.m. with the arrival of a flight from Krakow.

At the end of last week was the last inspection of the EC on security, the assessment was high. And on Monday, the Minister of Transport, Georgi Gvozdeikov, inspected the airport for its readiness for Schengen by air.
