At the beginning of the year, actor Christian Oliver and his daughters died. His ex-wife is now speaking in detail about her loss for the first time.

On January 4th, actor Christian Oliver flew from the Caribbean to Los Angeles with his daughters Madita and Annik. However, the small plane crashed into the sea shortly after take-off and everyone on board died in the accident. She now tells how Jessica Klepser, the ex-wife of the “Alarm for Cobra 11” star and mother of the deceased girls, experienced the time after the tragedy.

Jessica Klepser speaks in her friend Arne Friedrich’s podcast about the last contact with her children, who went on vacation with their father shortly after Christmas to celebrate New Year’s Eve. A day before the accident, they spoke on the phone via FaceTime: “We spoke via FaceTime on January 3rd and I said: ‘I’m looking forward to seeing you’.”

“I felt anger”

A day later, however, she learned of the plane crash that took the lives of her daughters and ex-husband. In a conversation with her friend Arne Friedrich, who was visiting at the time, she remembers her reaction to the terrible news: She was driven home by her boss, pushed her daughters’ beds together and lay down in them. “I felt anger, but I don’t know exactly who or what,” says the 49-year-old on “From Done to Dare.”

The day was full of “never again” for her. “I will never be able to listen to music again, I will never be able to sit by the ocean again. We did that often with the children, it was our happy place. And now the ocean has killed my children,” said Klepser.

“You’re with your dad now”

She spent the following time in the presence of several friends and tried to process what had happened. In the meantime, she wants to focus on the positive, she says: “Madita and Annik were very close, they liked each other so much, they were great sisters and they are now with their dad.”

Her ten and twelve-year-old daughters have not completely disappeared from her life: “I can still feel the girls, they left so much love, that heals my heart. But they have taken a piece of my heart with them. The three of them are now doing their thing upstairs and I’m the one who has to wait until I’m there.”
