Bangladesh-UAE Youth Series at Mirpur, Rajshahi

Bangladesh U-19 team will play one three-day match and four youth ODIs against United Arab Emirates. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 16-member team for this. This series will be held at home ground. The game will be played in Rajshahi and Dhaka.

On Thursday (October 17) the youth of the United Arab Emirates will set foot in Bangladesh. Youths have not played any match after the World Cup held in South Africa last February. They are returning to the field after eight months.

BCB has selected the team by keeping three cricketers from the World Cup squad. They are wicketkeeper Ashrafuzzaman Barenya, left-arm spinner Rafiuzzaman Rafi and pacer Iqbal Hossain Imon. In all, the team is arranged in three openers, three middle-order, three wicketkeepers, one all-rounder, three spinners and four pacers.

The three-day match will begin on October 20 at the Shahid Kamaruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi. The first two youth ODIs at the same ground are on the 25th and 27th. After that, the remaining two matches will be played at Mirpur Sher-e Bangla National Cricket Stadium on October 30 and November 1.
