Bans and restrictions on visiting forests have been introduced in all 118 regions of Belarus. This is evidenced by data from an interactive map on the Internet portal of the Ministry of Forestry, BELTA reports.

As of the morning of September 8, restrictions on visiting forest areas apply in all areas of the Vitebsk, Minsk, Grodno, and Brest regions.

In the Mogilev region, visiting forests is limited in 19 districts, and bans have been introduced in two (Goretsky, Dribinsky). In four districts of the Gomel region (Braginsky, Khoiniki, Zhlobinsky, Rogachevsky) visiting forests is also prohibited. Restrictions have been introduced in all other areas of the region.

When the ban is in effect, visiting forests is prohibited. There is a fine for violating this rule. If there is a restriction in the region, then mushroom pickers, berry pickers and hikers can visit the forest, but in compliance with the requirements. In particular, it is prohibited to enter the area in a mechanical vehicle, light a fire on the site, or leave materials that are oily or saturated with flammable substances.

Prohibitions and restrictions on visiting forests can be tracked in real time on the interactive map of the Ministry of Forestry.
