Belarus has banned the sale of Russian sweets “Love is …”. This was announced on March 3 by Gosstandart.

The department noted that the sweets do not comply with the technical regulations of the Customs Union for labeling, as well as the safety of food products and additives.

As explained in the State Standard, the manufacturer did not indicate the presence of dyes in these sweets, “which can have a negative effect on the activity and attention of children.”

In particular, experts found synthetic dyes tartrazine (E102) – 58.5 mg / kg and azorubine (E122) – 29.2 mg / kg in the composition of these lozenges.

“In fact, the composition of the products includes the synthetic dyes tartrazine (E102) in the amount of 58.5 mg / kg, azorubine (E122) in the amount of 29.2 mg / kg, discovered as a result of the tests, which were not declared by the manufacturer in the labeling,” the State Standard noted.
