Bike, scooter priced at Rs 3,000: Hero MotoCorp-Dinamani

Hero MotoCorp, a leading two-wheeler maker, has announced a price hike of up to Rs 3,000 for bikes and scooters.

The company told the stock market on Thursday:

The company has decided to increase the prices of its products in view of rising commodity prices and rising overall inflation.

Accordingly, the price of bikes and scooters will be increased up to Rs 3,000 depending on the model. The price hike will take effect from July 1. Following this, Hero MotoCorp said that the loss to the company will be partially offset.

Hero MotoCorp has been selling the HF100 bike for a minimum of Rs 51,450 and the Xplse bike for Rs 1.32 lakh.
