BNP has received permission from the police to hold a freedom fighter rally in front of the central office in Nayapaltan on the occasion of Independence Day. After permission, the team started construction of the stage from 11 am.

The rally organized by Muktijoddha Dal was scheduled to start at 10:30 am on Monday (March 25).

The police were preventing the construction of a rally stage on one side of the road in Nayapaltan since Monday morning. Finally, the law and order forces allowed the gathering in front of the party office on the condition of constructing a stage and keeping the traffic moving.

In this regard, Ishtiaq Aziz Ulfat, president of the Freedom Fighters Party, told the media, through discussions with the officials of the law and order forces of Motijheel Division, the assembly was allowed under certain conditions. It has been asked to hold a rally under the office instead of building a stage on the street.

After getting the permission, BNP started the work of assembly by announcing on the mic. Work has started on the construction of the stage by placing chairs temporarily on the pavement of the office.

Under the chairmanship of BNP Vice Chairman and veteran freedom fighter major retired Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will be the chief guest.
