The American aviation corporation Boeing is considering the possibility of selling at least two defense assets amid a major crisis provoked by a series of scandals with the quality of aircraft. Bloomberg reports this with reference to informed sources, Day.Az reports with reference to Gazeta.ru.

According to the agency, the corporation’s financial consultants have already contacted possible buyers of a number of its small divisions.

The material explains that we are talking about Boeing Digital Receiver Technology Inc., which produces products for intelligence and military customers in the government. In addition, the question has been raised about the sale of the company’s stake in United Launch Alliance, a joint rocket venture with Lockheed Martin Corp.

Previously, Boeing, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of aviation, space and military equipment, failed 33 out of 89 technical inspections of the US Federal Aviation Administration.

In turn, the European Aviation Safety Agency allowed the possibility of revocation of safety certification at Boeing factories. Measures will be taken as soon as the need arises. For example, an increase in the number of incidents with victims will be recorded.
