The forecast for pilots, flight technicians and air crew members for this year shows a growth of 3.4% compared to the forecast from the previous year (2021), with the exception of the Russian region, which is not included due to sanctions prohibiting the export of aircraft manufactured in Western countries and uncertainties in the market. China, Europe and North America represent more than half of the total demand for new personnel. The fastest growing regions are Africa, Southeast Asia, and South Asia, with all three regions expected to grow by more than 4 percent during the forecast period.
