Bonito, 297 km from Campo Grande, will host three days of mountain biking (mountain biking) with tests in the midst of natural landscapes for various categories. This is the second edition of the event that intends to move around 1,500 cyclists on Thursday (7), Friday (8) and Saturday (9).
The categories with age group participation from juvenile (15 years old) to master D2 (over 65 years old) are the traditional mountain bike, gravel (mixture of speed with dirt routes) and sport. Those three will be over three days.
The tour and kids category will only be on the 9th with routes of 15 km and 1 km, respectively. Seats for all categories are limited and are already filled. They ended on the 28th of August. The list of subscribers can be checked at the link.
The initial concentration for the collection of kits will be at the Arena Brasil Ride located in Praça da Liberdade from 1pm. The start of the prologue will also be at the same place from 9am until 12pm. The awarding of the categories is scheduled for 15:00 on Saturday.
While they are not in the competition, Brasil Ride informs that the ‘athlete-tourists’ will be able to attend local attractions such as the Serra da Bodoquena National Park and water parks. In addition, the gastronomic attractions with typical foods such as carreteiro rice, native fish, caiman and fruits from the Cerrado.

Organized by the institution Brasil Ride, Bonito City Hall and the State Government of Mato Grosso do Sul via Fundesporte (Fundação de Esporte e Lazer de Mato Grosso do Sul). The total investment by the government was R$700,000, R$350,000 of which by the Foundation and the rest by the Municipal Executive.
According to a note from the Foundation, the amounts will be invested in “the cost of sporting materials, awards (medals and trophies), route preparation and signaling services, timing, and medical and rescue services”.
