The Brazilian Men’s Team already knows the places and dates where it will play in the Copa América in 2024. The information was released this Wednesday (6), during the Conmebol Congress, which takes place in Miami, in the United States.

Brazil debuts on June 24th at Sofi Stadium, in Inglewood (California). The next matches during the group stage will be on June 28th, at Allegiant Stadium, in Las Vegas (Nevada) and on July 2nd, at Levis Stadium, in Santa Clara (California).

In case of classification, the next matches will be: quarterfinals on July 6th or 7th, in Glendale or Las Vegas (State farm Stadium/ Allegiant Stadium), semifinals, on July 10th at Bank Of America Stadium, in Charlotte) . The final will be on July 14th at the Hard Rock Stadium, in Miami (California).

The congress began on Tuesday (5) and runs until Thursday (7), when the official draw will be made for the groups that will compete in the competition in June and July of next year. An official delegation was appointed by the president of the Brazilian Football Confederation, Ednaldo Rodrigues, to participate in the event and monitor the draw. Among the participants is the General Manager of National Teams, Cláudia Schnabl Farias, the first woman to hold a management position in the Brazilian Football Team.

Official Draw – Copa América Unidos 2024 will feature the participation of 16 teams: the ten Member Associations that make up Conmebol and six invited Member Associations, belonging to Concacaf.

The Official Draw for the competition will be held with a total of four pots (1 to 4), with four teams each, positioned according to sporting criteria and their positions in the FIFA Ranking of National Teams, published before the Official Draw. The teams will be drawn following the order of each pot and will be distributed into groups according to their alphabetical order.

Pot 1: Two teams from each Confederation determined by sporting criteria. The current champion of the final continental tournament of each Confederation (Copa América and Concacaf Copa Ouro) and the best classified team of each Confederation, according to the Ranking.

Brazil is seeded in group D. Argentina, Mexico and the United States are seeded in groups A, B and C respectively.
