The death toll from a rock fall during a boat ride in Brazil has risen to eight.
Many people were enjoying a boat ride at the falls in the province of Minas Gerais in southeastern Brazil. In an unexpected moment, the rocks on the ridge of the mountain that had been rising collapsed.
Eight of the passengers were killed when rocks fell on three boats. 2 more are missing. More than 30 people were injured. Nine of them have been admitted to hospital, rescue workers said. Authorities said 20 people were initially reported missing and most of them have been confirmed alive.
