Title: SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launches 23 Starlink satellites into orbit from Cape Canaveral

In the early hours of Saturday morning, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket successfully lifted off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, carrying 23 internet-beaming satellites as part of the Starlink 6-28 mission. The launch took place at 12:05 a.m. EST from Launch Complex 40, but the rocket was hardly visible due to the thick mist shrouding the area.

The launch had been postponed for 24 hours due to a “no-name storm” that caused widespread flooding across Palm Bay, leading to road closures and vehicle damage. Despite the challenges, the Falcon 9 rocket managed to take flight, marking its 11th successful mission.

Looking ahead, a National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency navigational warning suggests that SpaceX’s next launch window will open late Tuesday night at the Cape. The window is set to open at 11 p.m. EST and extend until 3:31 a.m. Wednesday.
