Stars who speak negatively about the special operation did not refuse to sing for the Russian public
Turkey is preparing for speeches by Brezhneva, Lorak, Elki. In a five-star hotel in a Turkish resort, a series of concerts by Ukrainian artists is expected, who spoke negatively about the special operation and whose path to Russia is now booked for the Russians.
The day before, information was leaked to the media that despite all the negativity towards Russia, Vera Brezhneva is on the list of Russian and Ukrainian artists who will perform in the spring and summer in a Turkish hotel focused on Russians. In addition to Vera, concerts by Valery Meladze, who spoke negatively about the special operation in Nezalezhnaya, Ukrainians Elka, Ani Lorak and the Ukrainian group Artik and Asti, are scheduled at the same hotel.
“MK” managed to contact the artists who are performing today in this Turkish hotel, where they plan to give Brezhnev’s concerts.
“We have an international team,” the musicians said. – Artists from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Turkey. Please do not name our group. But we can say for sure that Brezhnev and Meladze often performed at the hotel earlier. In previous years, many stars gave concerts here. We do not know how it will be this year, because of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine it is difficult to judge. The amount of fees, for example, we have less than 10 thousand dollars. Superstars in Turkey have such prices. We perform once a week at the hotel, when the season is on, we are under contract. This hotel usually has a lot of Russians resting, Europeans and Turks are much less. The mood here is positive, there are no conflicts. Everything is always decent here, the hotel is of the highest category, premium.”
Promoter Kirill Chibisov explains the situation:
– The fact is that hotels with Russian participation have been constantly opening in Turkey for 10 years. They are a priori focused on a large contingent of Russians, exclusively premium. Hotels for wealthy Russians to attract their attention, the Turks are constantly inviting our stars. The artists there are like animators in front of the pools, they have a performance once a week.
– And what about the fees?
– As a rule, the star is offered a “package”, for example, 4 times during the summer it is necessary to perform. A fee of 100 thousand dollars for all concerts. If a star needs it, welcome, and if not, the Turks will find other artists. They are well versed in Russian show business, the Turks are very prudent guys. They will never overpay. And even more so now, when they understand that there are no concerts in Russia. Therefore, fees can also be underestimated. As far as I know, last year Brezhnev, VIA Gra, and Meladze already performed at this hotel, which you are talking about. They are from the same production center, which, apparently, concluded a contract with the hotel and is obliged to provide all the artists. If broken down by sectors, then approximately one speech by the same Brezhneva is valued at 25 thousand dollars. In any case, this is more than she will collect for a box office concert in any city in Europe.
– That is, these are the usual hotel performances of Ukrainian stars for wealthy Russians in Turkey, summing up? And, of course, it is interesting that Brezhnev and Meladze will perform there.
– Yes. I will even tell you more, employees of public services, most often restricted to travel abroad, as you know. But, according to a special letter, they have the opportunity to visit our friendly countries once a year for two weeks.
Recall that recently Vera Brezhneva is an unwanted person in Russian show business, the star condemned the special operation. A few months ago, the singer left Russia, and today she beats her chest, talking about her Ukrainian patriotism. At the same time, Brezhnev “volunteers” in Italy. Artik and Asti, Elka preferred to refrain from any comments. Ani Lorak said in an open letter “about love for Ukraine and glorifying it to the whole world.” But Meladze generally sharply condemned the actions of the Russian Federation, but … periodically gives corporate concerts on the territory of our country.
