Due to the public holiday on the occasion of Great Independence Day and National Day, both capital markets and related organizations and institutions of the country are closed on Tuesday (March 26).
Tomorrow, Wednesday (March 27), the trading of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) will start as per the rules.
On this day, national flags are hoisted at sunrise in all government, semi-government, autonomous and private buildings and easily visible buildings in Dhaka city and important buildings and structures are decorated with lights. The main roads and road islands of various cities of the country including Dhaka have been decorated with national flags and other flags.
Meanwhile, DSE office is open from 9 am to 3.30 pm on the occasion of Ramzan. Trading in the capital market starts at 9:30 am and continues till 1:40 pm. In this post closing session from 1:30 PM to 1:40 PM.
According to the DSE, the office of the exchange will be open from 9 am to 4:30 pm after the Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr holidays and the transaction will continue from 10 am to 2:30 am without interruption (with a post-closing session from 2:20 to 2:30).
