Bangkok: A police officer was killed when a car bomb exploded in a police precinct in southern Thailand. About 30 people were injured. Lt. Col. Niti Suksan, deputy police commissioner of Narathiwat province, said the area was being monitored and the number of injured would increase, confirming the car bomb blast. The injured police officers and people were admitted to the hospital. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
