According to the 2Chargers service, there are now only about 4,500 electric gas stations in Russia, 779 of which are fast. The installation of fast electric charging stations is subsidized by the state: up to 60% (i.e., up to 1.86 million rubles) of the cost of charging and up to 30% (up to 900,000 rubles) of technical connection to the power grid are compensated. According to the Ministry of Economic Development, in 2022, 439 fast and 783 slow chargers were installed in Russia. The plan for 2023 is 659 and 2163 EZS, respectively. Almost 3,000 charging stations for electric vehicles should be created in pilot regions of the Russian Federation by the end of 2024, as follows from the materials for the draft budget of the Russian Federation for 2024 and the planning period 2025–2026.
