China threatens US consequences over Nancy Pelosi’s planned trip to Taiwan – China

Beijing – China is threatening the US with consequences over a planned trip to Taiwan by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The visit would seriously jeopardize China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, Beijing Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said on Tuesday. China will respond to the visit and take decisive action to protect its sovereign rights.
