The Christmas Novena 2023 begins on Saturday, December 16 and ends on Sunday, December 24.
The prayer of every Novena always has a special character. It involves commitment, authentic devotion and faith; gifts from heaven that increase as the days pass in a spirit of prayer – whether of request, of offering, or out of gratitude.
The Christmas Novena seems to have, in addition to what has been mentioned, the sweet burden of expectation, confident waiting, certainty and growing joy; It amounts to a “spiritual countdown” to celebrate the greatest event: the birth of Jesus Christ. Let us remain, then, united in prayer through this beautiful tradition.
