In an interview with Ekaterina Gordeeva, actress Chulpan Khamatova said that she had left Russia and did not intend to return.
Now Khamatova is in Latvia, where she moved from a foreign vacation. The actress said: she built a house in Latvia, but she “has not figured out how to maintain it yet.” The house is not in Riga or Jurmala, it is in the village – to get to it, Khamatova “needed the help of other people”, because she did not have money to rent a car. She had funds left to live without work for a maximum of 3-4 months.
Chulpan Khamatova’s signature was under a letter from representatives of charitable foundations addressed to President Putin after the start of Russia’s military special operation in Ukraine.
Now, according to Khamatova, her charitable foundation in Russia will continue to work and she will remain its founder.
