“Compared to the previous two rounds, here we have a two-fold increase in the “very good” index, 2.2 percent gave the same answer in May. The same increase was also recorded in the “good” indicator. Here, too, we have an increase in the positive range of about 7 percent,” said Aram Navasardyan, director of MPG LLC, a full member of “Gallup International Association” in Armenia, summarizing the results of the survey.
2.8 percent of respondents assessed the current economic situation of RA as very good, 16.3 percent as good, and 54 percent as average. 20.1 percent of respondents stated that they will live better one year from now, 41.9 percent – somewhat better, 4.5 percent – somewhat worse, and 2.4 percent significantly worse.
25.5 percent of the citizens approved the activities of the opposition, 61.2 percent of the citizens approved negatively, 43.1 percent positively evaluated the work of the National Assembly, 54.9 percent of the government, 83 percent of the president, and 83.2 percent of the respondents approved the activities of the prime minister.
Highlighting the three most important existing problems, 34.1% of citizens mentioned unemployment, the same percentage – low pensions, 32.8% – the economic situation, 24.1% – the Nagorno-Karabakh problem, 15.2% – the bad state of the education system, 10.3% – the bad state of health, 7.7%: emigration, 7.4 percent – the problem of foreign policy and defense, 7.2 percent – inflation and inflation, 7 percent – corruption.
