Wasim Akram, captain of the Karachi Kings, Wahab Riaz and Haider Ali of the Peshawar team have been confirmed infected. They are currently isolated. This has been confirmed by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Kamran Akmal and Iqbal, both in the Peshawar squad, were already suffering from the infection. A total of four people on that team have been infected. Karachi and Multan play in the first match of the season to be played at the National Stadium.
