Zones have appeared in the Moscow metro where one can undergo early diagnostics of cognitive diseases associated with thinking, the press service of the Moscow metro said. The check allows you to detect, among other things, problems with memory and perception of information.

Testing can be done at the stations “Kievskaya”, “Kurskaya”, “Mayakovskaya” and “Turgenevskaya” until October 3. It is free and available to people of all ages.

Earlier, English and American neurophysiologists from Imperial College London conducted a study and found that COVID-19 negatively affects human cognitive functions, and the consequences of the disease persist even after recovery. In particular, the examined patients showed a deterioration in the ability to solve problems, as well as to understand the text and the meaning of words.

Later, Natalya Pshenichnaya, deputy director for clinical and analytical work of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor, said that after suffering a coronavirus, people have problems with memory and concentration. In addition, some patients have psychological problems, including depression.
