Haldwani: Congress has announced the names of its candidates for Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar for the elections to be held on April 19 on 5 Lok Sabha seats in Uttarakhand. Harish Rawat’s son Virendra Rawat has got the ticket from Haridwar and Rahul Gandhi’s close aide Prakash Joshi has got the ticket from Nainital. After this, once again the phase of resignations has started in Congress. On Sunday, Congress spokesperson Deepak Balutia resigned from the Congress party. In this regard, he has written a detailed letter to the party state in-charge.
Expressed displeasure at being ignored
He said in his letter that the party has neglected the supported workers. With a very heavy heart and the voice of my conscience, I am forced to resign from the Congress Party. Being a loyal soldier of Congress, I have been continuously raising public issues along with public service for 35 years. I want to serve the society in a better way. My inspiration was late Uttarakhand’s beloved leader Vikas Purush. I want to serve the society by following the ideals of Narayan Dutt Tiwari and taking his legacy forward along with his development, but in Congress, I feel like a student who worked very hard but never got to sit for the examination. Was given and did not get a chance to showcase his talent.
Congress ignored all the time
He further said that I feel great pain for my colleagues who have been selflessly associated with me and have been struggling along with me. According to my capacity and my resources, I have tried my best to serve the public to the best of my ability and put public issues in front of the public and the government. I believe that the public can be served better by reaching a constitutional position, but instead of giving the opportunity, the Congress Party ignored it all the time.
‘I sincerely apologize’
He said that it hurts a lot when the top leaders of the party ignore you instead of respecting your struggle and work. It is not easy to work continuously despite all the deadlock and demoralization in the party. Despite this, I have been serving as a diligent worker and loyal soldier for 35 years. I wholeheartedly apologize to all those well-wishers and friends who were with me in my journey of struggle for this self-determination. My struggle for public issues will continue.
