The mayor of Pavlikeni, Eng. Emanuil Manolov, signed two contracts with the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works for financing through the Investment Program for Municipal Projects from the national budget for 2024, the local administration announced.
The first project is for the repair and reconstruction of the athletics track at the “Gancho Panov” stadium, worth BGN 1,061,758 excluding VAT
Reconstruction of the circular athletics track is planned – construction of four corridors, each 1.22 m wide, and the flooring will be a 13 mm synthetic flooring system laid on an asphalt base, which will replace the current fireclay flooring. A drainage system will be built on the track to ensure the drainage of rainwater.
The second project is for the major repair, rehabilitation and improvement of “Lovets” street, worth BGN 1,118,333. It is one of the entrance arteries of the city and has a significant load. Heavy goods vehicles pass along the street and in places there are tracks and deposits from them . Potholes and cracks are observed that cannot be repaired with current patching. They create conditions for road accidents caused by the unevenness of the road. Major repair and rehabilitation of the street surface is planned. An important part of the project is the reconstruction of the sidewalks.
Both sites have prepared projects, coordinated and approved according to the order of ZUT, as well as valid construction permits, according to the requirements. The announcement of public procurement for the selection of contractors is pending.
The Municipality of Pavlikeni will submit 11 projects with a total value of BGN 13.4 million to the national investment program. Among them are technical projects for the reconstruction of water supply networks in the villages of Butovo, Gorna Lipnitsa, Dolna Lipnitsa, Daskot, Lesicheri and Patresh. applied for the first stage of reconstruction and modernization of the water supply system of the village of Nedan, where the project will be worth nearly BGN 6 million. The municipality expects funds from the state budget for the last stage of the reconstruction of the internal water supply network of the town of Pavlikeni, they indicate from the local government.
