Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina has called on party leaders and workers to work for the development of the country and the people as well as spread the ideals of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
He said, besides implementing the ideals of Bangabandhu, you have to work to improve the destiny of the country and the people.

Referring to the remarkable progress and development of the country in the last 15 years, Awami League President Sheikh Hasina said, ‘This progress has been made possible by staying in power for a long time.’
The activists told the Prime Minister that many Bangladeshis have got the citizenship of Thailand, they want to maintain the dual citizenship. They sought the Prime Minister’s intervention on the issue of dual citizenship.
The Prime Minister said that he will discuss the issue with the Thai government.
