In the Republic of Crimea, new restrictions are being introduced on October 11, which are designed to stop the rapid increase in the number of coronavirus infections. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic Elena Romanovskaya.

“Taking into account the fact that we have seen an increase in the incidence rate by 27 percent in the last week, and Crimea is in the“ red ”zone in terms of an increase in the number of infected, a decision has been made to introduce new restrictive measures,” said Romanovskaya. – We have studied the measures that are introduced by the constituent entities of the Southern Federal District and most of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. And we have made a decision to introduce softer measures and monitor the situation.

Employers will be obliged to transfer their employees over 65 to “remote work”.

– If earlier it was a recommendation, now it is the duty to transfer them to remote work, – noted Romanovskaya.

According to the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor and the Public Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, from October 11 to December 1, preferential free travel for elderly people over 65 is canceled in public transport. Such an unpopular decision was made, since most of the COVID-19 infections now occur in public transport.

At least 50 percent of the staff of state and municipal authorities will be transferred to a remote mode of operation. First of all, workers will be sent to the distant, whose absence at the workplace will not lead to technological failures.

Another measure is intended to stimulate vaccination that has stalled on the peninsula (over the past week, only about 10 thousand people injected with the first component of the vaccine). Enterprises of all forms of ownership, on which less than 80 percent of employees are vaccinated, will be obliged to organize testing of unvaccinated team members once a week at their own expense. At the same time, as the head of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sergey Aksyonov said earlier, enterprises on the peninsula will not be completely closed in lockdown mode.

Recall that over the past day, the coronavirus was confirmed in the Republic of Kazakhstan in 461 people. In total, there are now more than 81 thousand coronavirus cases in the republic, and 3456 of them are in inpatient treatment. 332 people diagnosed with COVID-19 are in serious and extremely serious condition.
