Cristiano Ronaldo became the most prolific goal scorer in football history with a hat-trick in Manchester United’s 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
Ronaldo scored his 805th, 806th and 807th goals for the country and the club against Tottenham. Ronaldo broke the record held by the Austrian legend Joseph Beacon with 805 goals.
Ronaldo, who started his career with Portuguese club Sporting CP, scored five goals for them. The Portuguese then joined Manchester United in 2003, spending six seasons with them and scoring 118 goals.
Ronaldo, who joined Real Madrid in 2009, has scored 450 goals in nine seasons for the Spanish giants. Ronaldo, who left Real Madrid for Juventus in 2018, has scored 101 goals in 134 appearances for the Italian club. Ronaldo, who returned to Manchester United in the 2021/22 season, has scored 18 goals for the Red Devils this season.
