Bhubanagiri: The villagers have demanded that the upper reservoir tank in Kumudimoolai, which is in a dangerous condition, should be demolished and a new tank should be constructed.
Kumudimoolai village panchayat is located near Marudur in Bhubanagiri taluk. Here, an overhead water reservoir is located in front of the Panchayat Union Middle School on the Bhuvanagiri-Kurinchippadi Nathamedu road.
The tank is in a dangerous condition with cars moving and wires stretching over the sides and walls. Due to this, people are afraid of drinking water tank.
The residents of the area have demanded that the old tank should be demolished and a new reservoir tank should be built.
