/ The Iraqi Football Association revealed, on Wednesday, that its president, Adnan Darjal, agreed with the designer of Real Madrid’s “Santiago Bernabeu” stadium in its modern form, to establish a similar stadium in Iraq.

This came during a meeting between Darjal and the designer of Real Madrid Stadium (in its modern form), in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on the sidelines of the World Football Summit for sports industry leaders and visionaries.

Regarding the details of the agreement, Firas Bahr Al-Ulum, a member of the federation, who accompanied Darjal on the trip to Jeddah, said, “The visit to Saudi Arabia was to serve and develop Iraqi football and bring it back to the forefront again by keeping pace with the development taking place in the countries that preceded Iraq in the game.”

Bahr Al-Ulum added while speaking to Agency, “The most prominent meetings were with the designer of the modern Real Madrid stadium and an agreement with him to come to Iraq with the stadium’s executing company in order to hold a tripartite meeting bringing together (the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Football Association, and the executing company) with the aim of building a stadium similar to the Real Madrid stadium.” in Iraq”.

He explained, “Agreement was reached on many issues, especially those related to the construction of stadiums and how to manage and invest them, similar to what happens in developed countries in the field of football.”

He confirmed that Darjal had reached an agreement with the manufacturer of the smart shoe to “import it to Iraq.” It is a shoe designed with the latest scientific technologies, which works with digital calculations and everything the player performs on the field while playing.

Bahr Al-Ulum pointed out that “the shoes are of high quality technology, and it was agreed to bring them into Iraq according to a joint agreement between the Iraqi Federation and the implementing company.”

On the sidelines of the conference in Jeddah, the Iraqi delegation met with the head of the Media Pro television broadcasting company, which is the company that broadcasts the Spanish League, and it was agreed with them to establish a mechanism for broadcasting Iraqi league matches and national team matches in accordance with the latest developments that occurred in the media arena, according to Sea of ​​Science.
