Delhi liquor policy case: In the liquor policy case Arvind Kejriwal (Arvind Kejriwal) was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). A team of ED officials reached Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence on Thursday evening and conducted a search. The development comes hours after the Delhi High Court denied interim relief to Kejriwal.

He was interrogated for two hours at the Chief Minister’s residence. At this time, ED Joint Director Kapil Raj was also present at Kejriwal’s residence. Kejriwal’s statement was recorded under Section 50 of PMLA.

Aam Aadmi Party leaders have also been detained. Heavy security has been deployed in front of Kejriwal’s residence. Meanwhile, Section 144 was imposed outside the ED headquarters in Delhi. BJP has alleged that all the scams related to the liquor policy were done with the connivance of Arvind Kejriwal.

The investigation team had also questioned the AAP national convener in the case. Kejriwal’s statement is being recorded under Section 50 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The Delhi High Court had clarified that Kejriwal cannot be granted interim protection from arrest. Later, ED officials reached the residence.
