Kathiresan and Meenakshi, a couple from Melur in Madurai district, had filed a case in the Melur court against actor Dhanush as our son.
Kathiresan-Meenakshi couple:
In 2012, their eldest son Kalaiyarasan went missing while studying Plus One. After watching the movie starring Dhanush in the cinema, they filed a case in the court asking him to hand over his son Kalaiyarasan to us as Dhanush. The incident caused great controversy.
They also demanded that Dhanush pay them Rs 60,000 a month in alimony. The Madurai branch of the High Court quashed the case after several rounds of hearings.
Attorney’s Notice:
Following this, the Kathiresan couple had sent notices to actor Tanushree and Kasturi Raja. In the notice, Kasturirajah was charged with attempted murder and obtaining an order by filing forged documents in court.
Case filed in court seeking damages:
Director Kasthuri Raja, on behalf of actor Dhanush, has issued a notice to the Kathiresan couple, warning them to immediately apologize for the allegations and to sue the court for Rs 10 crore in damages.
Madurai couple’s sensational description:
According to reports, the Madurai couple had said, “We have not received any notice so far. We have sent them a notice 15 days ago.” Further information on this is expected to be released soon.
